Our team is there for you as you create a plan for your future, providing you with continuous support and the resources to prepare you for a successful academic experience and career.

Do you want to learn more about the admissions process at United Career Institute? If so, keep reading to discover how our unique admissions experience can help you succeed.

Plan Your Future

Upon reaching out to us for the first time, your dedicated admissions team member will set up a virtual meeting to discuss your goals and start the process of planning for your future.

During this meeting, your admissions team member will ask you some questions to learn more about your unique situation and what you are looking for in a school. You may talk about the previous schools you attended, prior work experience, your interests, and anything else that’s important to your success. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions about United Career Institute, our programs, your classes, or anything else. Once your admissions team member has a good idea of what you’re looking for, you will work together to create a plan for your future.

Your unique career plan will include steps to reach your career goals, such as completing the necessary degree or diploma program, learning essential skills, gaining valuable experience, and preparing for professional certifications* and licensing exams**. Once you have this plan designed, you will be able to start the path toward your dream career.

Receive Continuous Support

After you’ve worked with your admissions team member to create your career plan, they will continue to provide you with continuous support. Next, you will need to schedule an appointment with a financial aid^ team member to complete your enrollment. Your admissions team member will provide you with the information and required materials to be prepared for your financial aid appointment.

Once you’ve completed your financial aid appointment and signed your enrollment documents, you are enrolled in your program, and it’s time to complete your orientation. Your admissions team member will guide you and set you up in the orientation class. This orientation class is designed to familiarize you with how the online platform works and allows you to work out any bugs before the official start date. In this class, you have your admissions team member to reach out to if you have questions or concerns, and a dedicated orientation coordinator will support you.

For students who need additional support, your admissions team member can help point you in the right direction to get the help you need. For example, suppose you need help with childcare to attend your classes. In that case, your admissions person can give you resources for organizations that can help and get you any verifications you need to qualify. Other support options that your admissions team member can refer you for are mental health services, transportation options, help with application fees, and help to purchase a laptop or desktop computer.

Prepare for Success

Once the enrollment process is complete, you’re ready to start school! Even as you begin your first classes, your admissions team member will stay with you throughout this time. During your first six weeks of school, your admissions team member will continue to check in on you weekly to ensure everything is going well with your classes and to see if there’s anything you need help with. After the first six weeks of your education, you can receive the same level of support from the UCI academic team.

As a UCI Online student, you have the advantage of having your personal admissions team member in your corner. Our team prides itself on providing each student with support, communication, and resources.
