12-Week Phlebotomy Course

As a Phlebotomist, you will obtain specimens of the patient’s blood for laboratory analysis or use by blood banks, hospitals, or research facilities. Other responsibilities include recording patient information and maintaining, storing, and disposing of equipment like needles and vials.

According to the United States Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), job opportunities for phlebotomists are expected to grow from 2014 to 2024. This growth is due to the anticipated increase in the volume of laboratory tests because of population growth and the development of new diagnostic techniques.

The United Career Institute’s 12-week phlebotomy program prepares you for a national certification while providing you the convenience of evening classes and a two-week externship.

“The school has a great environment, and teachers are willing to help students in any way possible.”

– Kendra Cutler, United Student
