United Students Practicing Hands-On Phlebotomy Skills
The phlebotomy technician class allows students to learn and practice different phlebotomy skills used in the field. They all really enjoy working with each other and helping support each other in this journey. They started the night by learning and practicing how to set up their tray. This allows them to create a mobile supply tray with the supplies they need wherever they perform their tasks. Being a part of a class that has a high energy for learning and supporting each other makes it a fun place to learn. It is incredible to watch these students support and guide each other. They even take turns using a prosthetic arm to practice venipuncture before starting to practice on a real person. This helps build their confidence!
