Why You Should Consider An Accelerated Program

Why You Should Consider an Accelerated ProgramHave you been thinking about furthering your education but aren’t sure what type of program suits the needs of your lifestyle? Are you wanting to avoid spending four to six years taking classes you don’t need at a traditional school? Attending an accelerated healthcare training program may be a great fit if this sounds like you.

Read on to learn more about why you should consider advancing your education with one of United Career Institute’s accelerated programs.

What Are The Benefits Of Accelerated Programs?

Choosing a school with accelerated training programs can prepare you for a successful education and professional career. In one of United Career Institute’s fast-track programs, you can expect to gain the knowledge and skills you need to start your career in less time than at a traditional college.

Time Spent in School

Students who choose an accelerated training program can expect to complete their education faster without spending four to six years taking courses that don’t apply to their program of interest. At United Career Institute, students can expect to earn their degree or diploma and be prepared to start their new career in two years or less.

Industry-Specific Learning

Students who enroll in our accelerated programs also have the advantage of taking industry-specific courses for their desired career fields. This means our students will spend their education learning the exact skills and knowledge to perform well in their future careers.

How Can An Accelerated Program Help You?

Attending an accelerated healthcare training program can not only help you start your career quicker, but it can also help set you apart from your competition in the workforce. By gaining hands-on experience through clinical experiences and an externship, then being prepared to sit for industry-specific certification* exams, you show potential employers that you have the skills and ability to apply them in your career.

Earn Industry Certifications

At United Career Institute, we know that it is important for students not only to learn the skills they need but also to be able to perform them in the workplace. Earning a National Healthcareer Association (NHA) certification* shows employers that you have been evaluated by a third-party organization and are up to date on knowledge in your career field. Our healthcare programs are designed to prepare you to sit for industry-specific NHA certification* exams.

Our Practical Nursing diploma program will also prepare students to sit for the NCLEX-PN~ exam.

Gain Hands-On Experience

Another way that attending an accelerated program can set you apart from the crowd is by applying your skills and knowledge in hands-on settings, including clinicals and an externship. At United Career Institute, our students have the opportunity to attend lab and clinical rotations where they apply the skills they have learned in lectures to a hands-on environment. Toward the end of their programs, our career management team will assist in pairing students with a local healthcare facility to complete an externship, where they will work in the field, gaining valuable experience.
