Learn About Our History of Success
United Career Institute (UCI) is part of a family-owned group of tri-state schools focusing on short-term career training. Its goal is to train students in job readiness skills to enter the employment market and start a rewarding career.
United Career Institute has taken the process that it offered residentially and launched online programs. The first program was our flagship program, Clinical Medical Assistant. Since then, UCI Online has grown to include additional degree programs in Medical Office Administration and Medical Coding. As well as our diploma programs, Medical Assisting, and Medical Billing/Administration.
United continues the tradition of offering accelerated, career-focused training programs where students can be ready for professional careers in two years or less. United students can expect caring and knowledgeable instructors who work closely with them in small on-campus and online classroom settings. They will work diligently to nurture skill development through hands-on training.
United Career Institute offers students career training in the popular healthcare fields of medical assisting, medical office administration, and practical nursing. Medical assistants, medical billers and coders, and nurses are critical members of the healthcare delivery team because of their wide range of skill sets.
“It’s an amazing school with awesome staff.” – Mallory Mayfield, United Student
Your Success Team
The critical ingredient in your United educational experience is the attention and support you will receive from your success team. Your acceptance into the United Career Institute family begins with a visit with admissions. The United team will continue to support you through your journey, culminating in the search for your post-graduation career with the assistance of our career management team.
United also serves employers, government agencies, and non-profits in the community by providing them with skilled medical professionals. United Career Institute partners with employers by arranging externships to facilitate on-the-job training for our students. Some of these employers also graciously agreed to sit on our advisory boards, which helps ensure our curriculum remains relevant to the needs of employers. On these advisory boards, employers share what they are looking for in an employee. We are then able to tailor our classes to that.
