Kelly Kaefer – Graduate Highlight

Meet Clinical Medical Assistant Graduate Kelly Kaefer!

Kelly Kaefer - Graduate HighlightKelly Kaefer went to a community college and then a university right out of high school. She states, “It was a different experience than compared to now. I’d say I didn’t take it very seriously then.”

Kelly decided to go to United Career Institute because she recently moved back to the area and was about to start working again, but she wanted to do something different with her life. She wanted a career instead of a job. She decided that the close proximity of United Career Institute to her home made it a good fit for her. She also stated that she enjoyed the small class sizes. The 18-month Clinical Medical Assistant program also greatly interested her in selecting United Career Institute.

Kelly stated that her favorite part of attending United Career Institute was meeting many wonderful people. She also stated that she got a lot of knowledge and skills needed to start her chosen career. Kelly says, “… It paid off because I got hired at my externship site.”

Kelly enjoyed the staff and facility and learned a lot from each person she interacted with. She enjoyed applying her learned skills and putting them into actual practice.

Now that Kelly has graduated, she is working at the clinic where she spent her externship. She enjoys the staff and work environment.

In five years, she helps to continue to grow in her family life and hold steady with her chosen career and the clinic that she loves working at.

Kelly would refer United Career Institute to a friend because it was a fast program with small class sizes.

A favorite memory that Kelly has of her time at United Career Institute is making a great group of friends who made her time seem to fly by. She made lifelong connections and obtained actual, applicable knowledge.
